If You’re Still Sleeping on The Hornets It’s Time To Wake Up

If You’re Still Sleeping on The Hornets, It’s Time To Wake Up

“The Hornets have the best squad this season that I’ve seen in a minute…”  says my son who is a sports big-brain, if I must say so myself.

However, if you’re one of those Ambien-sedated sofa jocks still sleeping on the Hornets, well, consider this your official Hornets alarm clock loudly buzzing WAKE UP and pay attention!

This squad is hooping like they got something personal to prove

Charlotte isn’t playing “young team basketball” anymore. They’re playing grown-man, playoff-ready basketball.

  • LaMelo is finally orchestrating like a franchise guard
  • Brandon Miller is looking like the most composed young scorer in the East
  • Kon Knueppel is the rookie nobody wants to talk about because he’s frying their favorite team
  • Miles Bridges is giving steady buckets
  • The role players are playing with purpose, not panic

This isn’t a fluke. This is identity.

They’re moving like a 6-seed, not a 10-seed.

You can feel it in the way they close quarters.
You can feel it in the way they respond to runs.
You can feel it in the way they walk into games expecting to win.

The Hornets aren’t hoping for the Play-In. They’re aiming above it. Yet, the barbershop is still talking about “potential” like it’s 2023.

BARBERSHOP WAKE-UP CALL

  • The Hornets are 7–3 in their last 10
  • Averaging 115 a night
  • Top 5 offense
  • Top 3 in 3-point shooting

And y’all still calling them ‘young’?

This ain’t a rebuild — it’s a rise.

  • LaMelo’s orchestrating
  • Miller’s cooking
  • Knueppel’s sniping
  • Diabaté’s cleaning glass

The East better wake up. The barbershop better wake up.

Because the Hornets already did.

Let’s discuss.
